Wearing the device

The device includes four adjustable head straps and two additional adjustable sections on the forehead and chin of the facemask to allow for a comfortable fit. Attach the longer straps to the upper openings and the shorter straps to the lower openings by threading the narrow end of each strap through the openings at the sides of the facemask and securing with the hook and loop closures. Loop the straps around the head and secure firmly. Use the tabs to adjust the forehead and chin sections for a close fit. For best results, ensure the facemask fits as close as possible to the forehead and chin.

Carrying out a treatment
  1. Thoroughly cleanse the skin to remove any traces of routine skincare, sunscreen or makeup.
  2. Insert the eyewear if desired.
  3. Place the facemask on the face and secure with the adjustable straps.
  4. Adjust the chin and forehead sections of the facemask for a close fit.
  5. Connect the facemask to the controller and press the ON/OFF button to begin treatment. The device switches off automatically after the 10-minute treatment time. Treatment may be stopped at any time by pressing the ON/OFF button on the controller.
  6. Remove the facemask and apply your recommended Environ skincare routine.
  7. Clean the facemask using a water-based wipe. Ensure the device is not being charged when cleaning.

Repeat the treatment 5 times a week for 12 weeks.

Before you do, please click the “Register My Lumavance™ LED Facemask Warranty” button to activate your 2-year warranty. You will need to provide the serial number when registering your warranty. The serial number is printed on the inside of the mask, at the bottom right where the lower strap is inserted.

  • DO NOT use the device for any other concerns than those described in the device’s intended use. The device has not been tested for any concerns other than those listed, and the risk is unknown.
  • DO NOT use the device if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding. The device has not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding women and therefore the risk to the foetus, infant or pregnant woman is unknown.
  • DO NOT use the device if you suffer from light-induced headaches or migraines.
  • DO NOT use the device if you have an allergy to silicone. The facemask treatment surfaces, eyewear and straps contain medical-grade silicone. If you find that you are allergic to the device materials, please contact your place of purchase or Customer Services.
  • DO NOT use the device if you suffer from any genetic conditions of the eyes. If you are unsure about any related eye condition and using the device, contact a healthcare professional.
  • DO NOT use the device if you suffer from any photosensitive disorder, meaning sensitivity to light, of the eyes or skin. Examples of photosensitive disorders include lupus erythematosus, albinism and polymorphous light eruption (PMLE). Using the device with a photosensitive disorder may cause a severe skin reaction.
  • DO NOT use the device if you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity. Using the device while taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity may cause a severe skin reaction.
